We realise that it’s sometimes difficult to find the right information, guidance and support as you navigate the next steps in music, and thanks to help from Awards for Young Musicians we are now actively changing this for young musicians in Lewisham.

As part of Awards for Young Musicians’ new Connector programme, we’re delighted to introduce singer/songwriter and professional musician with over 10 years experience, Abimaro Gunnell, as Lewisham’s Music Connector.

Meet Abimaro, Lewisham’s Music Connector…

Abimaro brings extensive local music knowledge as well as wide links throughout London and across the country, and will be here to connect young musicians with the right opportunities, support and information that’s available right here in Lewisham, and beyond. Anything from a beats workshops, to starting your own band, to writing your first song. Whatever your aims, Abimaro is here to help you reach them.
