If you are looking to make some music in your school then you’re in the right place.

We are always looking to expand our music provision to Lewisham schools and academies. If you would like some music in your school then we are happy to help with that.

Music is an integral part of the curriculum, with loads of benefits that positively impact young people’s overall development, including its potential to foster inclusivity, stimulate cognitive development, promote social harmony, facilitate emotional expression, encourage lifelong learning, and support career opportunities.

Schools Printed Music Licence (SPML)

Most schools in the UK are covered by SPML. The Schools Printed Music Licence is your licence to copy and arrange sheet music in school. It means you can photocopy sheet music for classes, ensembles, choirs, bands and individual lessons. As part of the agreement schools must regularly report on licence usage by providing data on the music that has been copied. For more information on SPML and to report data please click the button below.
