Radio Lewisham is a diverse youth-led radio station giving a platform for all young people in the borough to share their views and creativity.

Going live from Lewisham Music’s HQ in Bellingham, Radio Lewisham is a joint venture between Lewisham Young Mayor’s team and Lewisham Music, with support from Bloomsbury Radio and Undeniable, giving young people a voice and platform to explore what matters to them.

Created by former Lewisham Young Mayor (2023-2024) Jentai Gen-One as part of his YM manifesto, Radio Lewisham features a range of shows, music genres (including music released by young artists themselves!), and topics that are chosen and broadcasted by Lewisham young people, and gives them the opportunity to improve their public speaking, debate skills, and highlight issues and events that impact their lives.

“Being a musician from Lewisham, when it came to radio, there was no local station for me to get my music played and reach new audiences. Radio Lewisham is a game changer!”
