A bit more about the project…

The London Jazz Scene is on fire right now with artists like Mercury Prize-winners Ezra Collective, Nubya Garcia, Moses Boyd and Theon Cross tearing it up at festivals and on TV, and performing around the world. Since 2023 – and with the support of London Music Fund – Lewisham Music are working alongside Tomorrow’s Warriors and Trinity Laban to take this exciting project to the next level. The Jazz Hang is aimed at young musicians aged 11-16 who are at an early stage in their engagement with Jazz and want to learn more about it, but don’t know where to start.

Let’s make some jazz!
