Partner with Lewisham Music, invest in creative futures, build stronger communities, and ensure music is accessible to everyone in Lewisham.

We believe that music should be accessible to everyone, but opportunities for young people to engage in music are often uneven. Together, we can change that.

As an award‑winning youth charity and Principal Partner in the South East London Music Hub, we deliver inspiring, high‑quality, inclusive music education across schools and communities in the borough.

Trust and Foundation funding plays a pivotal role in enabling us to build capacity for progression, training, and creative pathways, deliver bursary‑based tuition and fund projects reaching young people facing economic or social barriers, and co‑design projects with young people around wellbeing, identity, and mental health, such as our award‑winning Sonic Minds project.

“Music is a form of expression whether it is happiness or sadness and has changed my life.”

Why partner with us

Bespoke, strategic partnerships

We aim to build long-term relationships that are more than funding—they are collaborations rooted in shared values and measurable impact. Trusted partners such as Merchant Taylors’ Foundation have supported us with multi-year funding to expand bursaries, creative careers training, and community development roles through our Creative Futures initiative

Targeted programme sponsorship

Funding directed at priority programmes, such as community bursaries, mental health through music, access for disadvantaged young people, directly enables participation where cost is a barrier. We tailor impact frameworks to ensure outcomes are clear, meaningful, and aligned with funder reporting expectations.

Supporting innovation and infrastructure

We continually evolve spaces, platforms, and partnerships, like our community hub The Fellowship and multi-platform youth‑led radio/podcasts, to amplify youth voice and build new creative communities across the borough. Trust contributions help maintain, develop, and grow this infrastructure.

Strong, trust-based management and financial governance

As a registered charity (1169721), we adhere to high standards of accountability, transparency, and evaluation.

Youth‑led and inclusive programme design

From Sonic Minds creative music-making projects to Front Line Young Minds podcasts, young people co-produce activity which shapes social impact and community relevance.

Established track record and visibility

We have received multiple awards and a growing reputation in London’s youth and music charity sector, supported by funders such as Arts Council England, Youth Music, London Music Fund, Garfield Weston Foundation and others.

Collaborative learning and evaluation

Co-designed metrics, young evaluator involvement, shared impact storytelling help create a collaborative future.
