Participant's interests and experience
Tell us a bit about yourself and why you want to join GigLab? (what excites you about live music and events.)
Do you have any experience with live events or organising anything creative? (this could be gigs, open mics, community events, school shows, etc. No experience? That’s fine too – just tell us what you'd love to learn!)
What are you most interested in learning from this course? (e.g. booking artists, running a show, marketing, behind-the-scenes logistics)
What does your dream role in the live music world look like? (there’s no wrong answer – we want to know your vision!)
This course takes place over 4 weeks, with a final showcase in Week 5. Are you able to commit to attending all the sessions? (please tell us if there’s anything you’d need support with – like travel or access.)
How well do you work in a group or creative team setting? (we’ll be working collaboratively – tell us what you enjoy and what helps you thrive.)
What do you hope to get out of Events Academy beyond skills? (e.g. confidence, networking, experience, finding your community.)
Do you have any access needs or anything else you'd like us to know? (we aim to make this space inclusive and supportive.)
As part of the course, you will take on a specific role in delivering our final showcase event. Each student will be responsible for a key area of the event’s planning and delivery. Please note: while we will do our best to match you with one of your preferred roles, allocations will depend on the number of applicants and overall group balance.
