Lewisham Young Producers is an exciting music technology project for ages 11-14, taking you on a journey through music production.

 

The project is led by industry professional music producer Drew Archie and will give you the opportunity to learn new skills, collaborate with other young producers and access a professional studio environment.

 

Who is Drew Archie?

Drum patterns

Recording audio

Recording live instruments

Sound scaping

Melodies and chord progressions

 

Throughout the programme you will explore different genres and find your own unique sound.

 

 

 

What music production package are we using? 

The project will provide you with access to a range of production software including Logic and Ableton.

 

When

Thursdays, 4.15-5.30pm

 

Level

Beginner/Intermediate level (for those new to music production, or those with some experience)

 

Where

The Novelist Studio in our new community spaces – First Floor, The Fellowship & Star, Randlesdown Road, Bellingham, SE6 3BT

 

 

Cost

£5 per session (£50 per term)

 

This activity is partly subsidised, but we will ask payment prior to the first session to ensure commitment as places are limited. If your personal situation means that paying fees is not feasible then please do get in touch to discuss our bursary options.
