Do you want to be a sound engineer? Would you like to be paid to work at Glastonbury Festival? Are you aged 18-25, and from Black and Global Majority background?
We have an exciting opportunity for four aspiring sound engineers to attend our hands-on sound engineer training course in partnership with DI Audio, The Albany, Lewisham Music, and Glastonbury Festival 2024, working on electronic dance music events.
Young people accepted on to the programme will undertake one full day and two evening sessions of training, plus some work experience. Based on their performance and commitment, four young people will be chosen to go to Glastonbury.
You will gain invaluable experience working at a large-scale live event, have all your expenses covered (plus be paid!) and have some free time to explore the festival.
To take part in this project you will need

To have some basic previous experience of sound engineering (such as attending our Backstage Technical Skills Course)

Be from a Black and Global Majority background

Be aged 18-25 years old
You must be available to

Take part in training on Wednesday 22 May (full day), Thursday 23 May (evening) and Friday 24 May (evening), at the Albany

Take part in work experience on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May

Come to Glastonbury Festival, Monday 24 June – Tuesday 2 July
