Rap and Lyricism

Are you an aspiring rapper, poet or spoken-word artist aged 13-18? If so, don’t miss this amazing opportunity to develop your creativity in an online masterclass with rap legend, Kenny Baraka.

From his upbringing in Brooklyn, New York, where he was a formative part of the 90’s Golden Era NYC hip-hop scene to his international recording and touring career with the likes of Tribe Called Quest, Supernatural, Omar, De La Soul, Rodney P, Burning Spear, Common Sense and KISS FM’s DJ Shortee Blitz, Kenny has been making and performing music across the world.

Living in the UK for over 10 years, he has combined his music industry background with his many years of teaching experience to work with and inspire young people from across the UK.

What will the sessions cover

We are offering individual 1-2-1 online masterclasses with Kenny where you can experiment with ideas, hone your lyric writing, transform words to rhythms, and explore the best way to progress your creativity or even how to turn it into a career!
