This is your chance to step inside one of the most iconic live music venues in the world! Ronnie Scott’s, a legendary jazz club in the heart of Soho, London, is offering an exclusive 3-day work experience course with their renowned sound tech team. This hands-on, immersive programme will see you working side-by-side with industry professionals, gaining invaluable experience in sound technology and live event production.
Over 3 days, you’ll shadow expert engineers, assist with live event setups, and get the chance to manage live sound in real-time. This is a rare opportunity to dive deep into the world of sound engineering, mixing, and troubleshooting in a top-tier venue where some of the world’s biggest artists perform.
We’re looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, confidence, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Be prepared for a fast-paced environment where you’ll learn by doing, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and reflect on your experience. Note: there may be some waiting time, but it’s the perfect chance to soak in the atmosphere and prepare for the next step!

Programme benefits
Your level
This is an intermediate to advanced level programme so you should already have sound engineering and/or live sound experience at a venue or with a band/musician. You should be comfortable using sound desks, microphones, and live mixing equipment, as well as being confident troubleshooting technical issues during live events. Please note, this is not suitable for beginners.
