Lewisham Music are looking to recruit a Director of Community Programmes.

 

Lewisham Music is an award-winning youth charity and Principal Partner in the South East London Music Hub. Working alongside local and national partners, we deliver and support a diverse range of musical opportunities in schools and communities across Lewisham.

 

As Director of Community Programmes, you will…

Lead and grow our community music offer, including events, community programmes, and holiday courses.


Secure external funding to ensure the sustainability of programmes.


Develop strategic partnerships with local and national organisations.


Oversee a passionate team, driving quality, inclusivity, and innovation.

Work status

Full-time/5 days per week/35 hours per week.

 

This will largely be within office hours, but occasional evening and weekend work is required for board meetings, site visits and events.

 

Pay

£45,000–£48,000 (depending on experience)

 

Contract type

This is a permanent contract (6-month probation period).

Based at Lewisham Music, The Fellowship, First Floor, Randlesdown Road, London, SE6 3BT.

 

Lewisham Music operates a flexible working policy. It is anticipated that 3 days a work will be working on site in the office, with an option to work from home 2 days per week.
