This is an exciting early-career opportunity, ideally suited for someone aged 18-30, with the successful candidate joining Lewisham Music as we develop and launch our creative industry careers programme ‘Creative Futures’ here in Lewisham.

Job overview
The Creative Careers Producer is an exciting new role, created following a five-year funding partnership with the Merchant Taylors Foundation. With the support of the Merchant Taylors’ Foundation, we will develop and deliver an inclusive and high-quality music programme that combines three interconnected strands…
Community Bursaries/ Furthering Talent
Free and subsidised music tuition and mentoring to support social mobility
Creative Futures
Supporting underrepresented groups into employment and training within creative industries
Community Development
Funding a key position to support families and engage local communities
The approach behind these three strands is built around organisational learning, the needs of local young people and builds on our proven track record of building confidence and skills with young people experiencing limited opportunities.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in producing the Creative Futures strand, brokering opportunities, facilitating collaborations with creative organisations, and assisting participants in achieving employment destinations and opportunities within the creative industry.
